well i’m 27 weeks today. i sent the pump back to the nurses yesterday! so i’m officially off it. i am still taking 3 zofran pills a day, but i’m nothing like i was before. right now i’m sick with a cold and sore throat, as we all are. jeremiah has an ear infection on top of it!

i cannot believe how big i feel, how heavy my belly feels, how low jace feels, and how painful my lower belly and even lower are. i would NOT trade this with hyperemesis woes, but i am really in pain, i’m not kidding! i really find it hard to believe there’s still so long to go.

jamin and josiah will be 2 and 4 in a month. can you believe it? they are just getting so big. my boys are still the cutest ever and i’m sorry i haven’t shared cute, fun things with you in a while. i post on facebook nearly every day, because it’s short and quick and i don’t feel i have to drag out a lot of info. i really want to post on the blog at least once a week. please pop me an email or a comment to encourage me if i go longer than that, please!

i haven’t made much money on the digiscrapping site, but it is fun. i’m trying to take it a day at a time and use it as a ministry more than anything. i still get discouraged about it every now and then, but i’m not giving up on it.

haven’t been watching much tv lately. we still don’t have cable, and now our upstairs antenna won’t work right LOL. i have been watching america’s got talent. i love the people who have been through so much and surprise everyone with their talent. there are quite a few good singers this year.

i am still loving church, though i miss being able to sing up front. i just can’t stand for the amount of time required. i really can’t even handle going to practice yet - i’m too tired at that time.

a few jewels from the j-boys:

jeremiah: “i just hate it when my eyebrows stick together.” (he meant eyelashes - his eyes are icky because of the ear infection)

josiah: at the parade a few weeks ago, after seeing people in “cowboy” attire riding horses: “did you just see that? there are real cowboys! i just knew there were still cowboys!”

jamin: “mama love”

well i know i had more to say, but as usual, when i’m here i can never think of anything!!

jeremiah has been so hilarious lately. i need to write these down when he says them, or else i’ll forget forever. just go with my lack of flow. lol.

the other morning, he said he had a bad dream. i said that must have been really hard. he said, “yeah, it was hard. it was hard as gramma’s marshmallows almost!” (my mom lost a tooth cap on one of her marshmallows, so the boy wasn’t joking! but i was practically ROFL)

this morning, he commented that he was cold. i asked him how cold. he said, “mama, i’m freezing! freezing like a penguin on an iceberg!”

ROFL!

and this is not a simile, but today i asked him when he grew up who he would be marrying. he smiled sweetly and said “YOU!” awwwww.

jeremiah came in with the tweezers.

“mama and papa, do you need your eyebrows weeded?”

ROFL!!!!!!!!!

my friend amanda, who lost her brother a month ago, asked me to share about the benefit they’ll be having for him.

the other day, jeremiah had a few really cute quotes. march 22:

jeremiah was wearing a pirate hat this morning. it’s the kind with a tassel on the side. he came over to me and said, “i’ll tickle yer ear with a pirate tale” as he tickled my ear with the tassel.  i had to explain how tale and tail were very different.

tonight, he and josiah bumped heads. after crying for a minute, he went off to play. 5 minutes later, he returned. “mama, josiah had gived me a reverbing headache.” i had to laugh. he couldn’t tell me where he’d heard that (so i could know what the real quote was)…oh that boy.

• after dropping a car on his toe, i asked if he was ok. “yeah, i think so…but i really  want a cactus lightning.” (he has been asking us for this particular lightning mcqueen. jerry and i burst out laughing that he is being so relentless!)

josiah

• carrying the accordion, he asked jerry and me “do you want to do a polka??!”
• there’s a quote in the movie home one the range that we say often (”where are the parents?”), and jeremiah was looking for his pants, so i was saying “where are the pants?” and i also said “you know, like ‘where are the parents’?” josiah said, “i don’t know, but i found one parrot!” presenting us with a toy parrot.

jerry has been feeling so much better on his new medicine. we are making sure he takes it regularly and he’s doing so well. please continue to pray for him.

this morning:

1) i hear josiah laugh and let out a loud, high-pitched (happy) scream. jeremiah says, loud as possible, “NO SCREAMING! YOU KNOW THAT’S TOO LOUD!” i hear the scream again, “I SAID NO SCREAMING, JOE! YOU KNOW BETTER!”

2) i had told them to sing to each other this morning, because they’d awoken a little too early for my taste. there is a theme song from a show called “kipper” that jeremiah and i made a version for snoopy. “his name is snoopy, snoopy the dog, the dog who goes po@py, that’s snoopy, snoopy the dog….” yeah, i know, but i’m a mom of boys, ok? sue me! anyway, this morning i hear “his name is kipper, kipper the dog, the dog who goes po@py, that’s kipper, kipper the dog…” then in his loudest, vibrato voice “he goes POOOOOOPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!” i could almost see him bowing. oh how i wish monitors came with a recording device.

jeremiah, in his perfect english accent “mother bear?”

me “yes, baby bear?”

“i’d like to call you jenn.”

“sorry baby bear, it’s rude for kids to call their parents by their first names.”

“mother bear?”

“yes, baby bear?”

“what can i call you?”

“mother, mom, mommy, mama, moms, mommers….”

josiah pipes up “mommers!”

you may notice a new gallery link on the sidebar. i’m still working on it, slowly but surely, but soon it will have all my digiscrap layouts in it, and also some of my favorite pics of our family.

i have been REALLY tired lately. i feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day for anything! hard to believe i’m ONLY 24 weeks along. i feel like i’m in the home stretch, but i’m not there yet. lol.

oh i have a question for you. what do you think oppaluss means?

why, it’s josiah’s new word for octopus, of course. yesterday, he brought the toy octopus over to me saying “‘ere you go, oppaluss!!!!” when he fell off the desk, “oh no oppaluss, you otaaaay?!” how cute is he?!

well that’s it for now. i guess we’ll save the major babbling for another day, huh? hope everyone is well.

we decided on a name for now! i really like jamin zachariah, and jerry said that’s fine with him, unless we discover another name we love even more.

that reminds me, yesterday i was asking jeremiah what we should name baby, and he said “he’s j-bug!” and i said “well how about jamie-bug? his name can be jamin and we can call him jamie?” and he said “NO not jamie-bug, J-BUG!!!!” so i told him whatever we named him, he could call him j-bug. and he was very happy. LOL!

i really need to get better at writing cute stuff out…i forget it so quickly!!!

anyway i KNEW if i could call him something, i would feel much better about him being a boy. i’m imagining matching outfits, ballgames, and much more boy fun. who knows if we’ll have another baby - it will be the Lord’s doing if we do. if we have another boy, he’ll probably jadon timothy or jadon something else. and of course we have our girl’s name all set.
