cast: papa, mama, jeremiah
scene: jerry trying to squeeze a few more moments of sleep in while jeremiah avoids nursing to sleep. jeremiah is playing with his hole (note: there is a medium nail hole in the wall above our bed, which i have named jeremiah’s hole in the wall.), then tires of it. he lies down on papa’s pillow, resting his head on his arm. he is facing papa. “ahlolloo” he says. my head jerks up. “did he just say “i love you”?!” the intonation is unmistakable. jerry sits up. “i think so!” he says. “jeremiah, did you say “i love you”?” “ahlollo” he repeats. HOW CUTE IS HE?!
in other events, he is now able to give us ‘five’ with a bit of help. he is shaking his head ‘yes’ and ‘no’. the no is often accompanied by “nonononono”.
his favorite foods: pears, spaghetti and cereal bars - especially apple.
he was doing really well sleeping through the night. then all the sudden he’s waking up once or twice way too early in the am. SIGH.
i am still not feeling well. if i could sleep in until 930 or ten without being awakened at 5 or 6 first, i might be ok. i haven’t not vomited in the morning since i started feeling bad. when will this end?? please pray that i get all healed up soon. it’s driving me nuts.
i am going to be babysitting for a good friend in february sometime. it will only be for a few months, and for only a few hours a day. her son is 5 months old right now. i’m pretty excited about it. it will be good experience for me, jeremiah and kc to have a little baby in the house.
my parents dropped by last night with some leftovers from texas roadhouse (you know, my absolute favorite place to eat!) and some chocolate ice cream. i have been craving chocolate ice cream for days. it was heavenly. jeremiah has sooo much fun with his grandparents! he loves them so much. my dad has started commenting how girls are so much easier to handle at this age. it seems jeremiah is in perpetual motion whenever they come over, so they don’t get to witness how he can stay still and occupy himself for long lengths of time with his books or toys. oh well. at least i know. he is quite the mover and shaker tho. he doesn’t usually sit still for long when he’s ‘in that kind of mood’. and when he gets worked up from grandparents visit, of course he’s ‘in that kind of mood’!
i can’t believe i’m going to be having another baby in a few months. sometimes i feel bean flutter and am like, ‘i am REALLY pregnant. it’s not a dream. i’m going to have a second child!’ it’s just unreal to me. this time next year i’ll have a nearly 5 month old and a nearly 2 year old!! imagine!! it blows my mind.

ok we found out we have another big expense. the house insurance cost. somehow we didn’t know until NOW that we have to pay a year’s worth up front. how is that possible? we don’t know either.
i am really upset as is jerry about what we are going to do. things would be FINE if his nursing home job didn’t have stupid rules. they won’t let him drop his insurance, which costs us about $350 per pay period (2 weeks). he has to go to part-time status to drop the insurance, and he CAN’T drop to part-time status until the mortgage goes through. we are losing 800 bucks a month because of it. thankfully the closing is soon so we’ll be able to count that money in soon. but we have lost about $1600 so far because of it. we have had little (about $200-400 each) things pop up that were unforseen too, so we are really low on funds. please pray for us!!!
i am trying to rack my brain to find ways to make money asap. we are planning on having a moving sale soon but that isn’t until we are all done packing. i have some dvds set aside to sell, and thought i’d put them on here, in case someone wants to purchase them. they are all in good shape, they are just not movies we want to keep. i am thinking maybe $10 each, plus $2.50 for postage. anyone who is interested PLEASE email me: jennbear@comcast.net. we can do paypal or check by mail. i will include this list on the sidebar and cross off ones that people are interested in. ETA: i just found links to the movies. some of them actually take you to a site to BUY the dvds. they range from 9 bucks to 20-something. i think 10 is a good deal, but i can accept no less than 5. and the 2.50 for shipping stands firm.
