i’m waiting for my friend to email me some pix from the shower. BUT i figure i can tell you about it, instead of putting it off and off until i get the pix! lol.

well, out of the 12 people that were invited, 8 came. which isn’t bad. and one of them who didn’t come is the one who surprised me with that outfit, another had a wedding shower on the day.)
ok, when i go to a baby shower, i almost always say “everyone gets baby clothes for these, so i’m going to get something different.” i guess EVERYONE at the shower thought the same thing, because i didn’t get any baby clothes! LOL. here’s the gift list:
a bear hooded towel, bear bib and bear washcloth
washcloths, burp cloths, sick baby kit, bibs
baby lotion, baby wash, precious moments boy who says a prayer
a deluxe baby snoopy bouncer

pretty great, huh? and at mom’s on sunday, when we celebrated jerry’s birthday (his bday is actually today), my sil gave me an ADORABLE newborn outfit for jeremiah. i didn’t even realize they made a newborn size!!! i was excited.
the shower turned out nice. the strawberry shortcake cake was delicious!! and even though everyone didn’t know everyone else, they all got along great.

yesterday i had an adverse reaction to something, because i was really sick-feeling most of the day. i threw up for the first time in a while. i’m feeling more normal now.

i will make sure to post the pix when they come. i had some taken on my real camera, which won’t go to devlp for a while. at least not until after the baby room is finished, so i can take pix of it. and it’s coming along nicely. now i wouldn’t want the room without the stars - that’s how much i like them!!

well i hope everyone has a great day! i’m going to celebrate the wonderful, blessed day of my dear hubby’s birth!!!! (oh, i forgot to mention, he’s 31 today, and the other day he asked if we could skip this birthday, and say he’s 31 NExT year. LOLOLOL. silly old bear!!

wellllll nice to know everyone is as divided about the stars as i am! lol! i got a new curtain today, that i have to have hemmed before it can be put up, but it matches the stars and the denim perfectly. i am liking the stars a lot now. it’s really really growing on me.
we FINALLY got the new kitchen flooring put in today! Old floor, old floor 2, NEW floor!! i am so thrilled with it!!
well tomorrow is my first baby shower! it’s here at the house and i’m both excited and nervous. it’s with excoworkers, some of whom i haven’t seen in QUITE a while, so it feels kinda funny, ya know? anyway, i hope it turns out well!

well, the stars are done…and i don’t know what i think yet. jerry hates it. but he doesn’t want to repaint the bottom, so we’re kind of in a pickle. i told him that if we get the curtain up (that will match the blue stars, as well as the denim on the glider) and put the things on the wall that bring all the colors together, it might look better. tell me what you think…(scroll to the bottom) babyroom.
the computer is still being dumb, but i was on a bit tonight visiting preggo pals. please be patient with me.

oh by the way, i found out who the gift is from! i called babies r us and they told me. it was an ex-co-worker. :) so i was able to send her a thank you card.

my computer is being kind of fritzy, so i am only turning it on twice a day or so, to check email and to check jeremiah’s site for comments. just so you know, i’m not ignoring everyone, and i’m not avoiding your sites. i still love you!! hopefully it will be fixed soon…
i’m going to try to do the stars on jeremiah’s walls today.
oh, i just got a package in the mail! from babies r us. it’s an adorable outfit that i had put on the registry, BUT there is no return address (besides babies r us) so i have no way of knowing who it’s from!!! thank you whoever you are, but i would really like to know who you are so i can thank you personally!!!! it was so sweet of you!

jerry felt jeremiah move tonight! yay!!!
he said, stop kicking so hard, you’ll hurt mama! lol!!
then he said, he’s going to want to play football. he’ll be a kicker. don’t worry, they rarely get hurt. LOL.
the little man is really on fire tonight. he’s having some sort of party in my belly! i don’t know WHAT i ate…maybe he’s just in one of those moods!

well jeremiah is moving like crazy. he is really rough! i know it won’t be long before his kicks and punches cause me pain. right now i’m still in the ‘this is cool’ phase of it!
i think i have discovered his pattern now. when i eat something or drink something sweet (oj) he wakes right up and starts his fitness routine LOL. he also does it when i lie down. unfortunately, papa STILL has not felt the little man! everytime i try to get him to feel him, he stops. OR he doesn’t do it as roughly as he did before. sigh. i think he’s just being ornery!
i have decided the finishing touches on jeremiah’s room! you know the carpet and the bottom walls are lavender. well, i am going to go over the bottom walls with large blue sponge-painted stars, then when those are dry, smaller yellow sponge-painted stars over it. since the glider gramma bought us has denim-covered cushions, i’m going to get denim curtains and add iron-ons that will have mint green and yellow and MAYBE baby snoopy. it will bring everything in together. i am so excited about getting it done, and then getting that boy into his room! :)
well, i need to go pack some things away. lots of hugs!

look at this instant smile i got today! i went outside with kc and looked to the right, and saw this!!

now the only thing this little smile could be from is the birdseed that i was complaining about a week ago. LOL. funny, eh?!

it seems that every dream i remember lately involves food. i wake up craving whatever was in my dream. last night it was little ceasar’s pizza, mom’s roast and ham. ??? nice combo, and none of it is available! lol.
