well, i have been waiting a few days to hear back from the dr. about my meds, and i called again to find something out. jerry says ‘oh, i forgot to tell you - the dr said your meds should be ready to be picked up’.

i said, ‘when was this? monday?’

‘yeah.’

ggggrrrrrrr! men!!!!

so today i have to go pick it up. i hope it’s nicer to me than the glucophage was.

as for the diet, it seems to be going ok. i am starting to feel better. the only thing is, i get really hungry really soon. like, before, i would get hungry and then fix dinner soon, and be fine. NOW if i get hungry, i have to eat immediately! the food needs to be almost ready because i’m starving within minutes of just being hungry. crazy, huh?

you know how i always need money, since i can’t seem to find a job…

well, do you think anyone would want to buy a drawing from me?

here’s my idea:

someone could send me by email a scanned photo OR by snail mail an original or copied photo, and i would draw a picture of the photo.

i would need about 2 weeks to draw it, just to be on the safe side.

starting out, i’d charge $10 for a drawing, and then $5 for shipping and handling.

if it goes really well, i’ll hike the price up.

let me know what you think - would it work, or am i being a dork?!

1. How long have you had a weblog? since july 10, 2002. yes, i’m a novice at this!!

2. What was your first post about? well, since i’m a very new blogger, it’s still at the bottom of this page! let me see! wed july 10 - it was about icky tests. i had an hsg done, and it was not fun!!!!! believe me you never want to have it done to you!!!!

3. How many changes (name, location, etc.) of your weblog have there been, if more than one? i’ve just had the one, and it’s just a section of my whole site. when i change the theme and layout of the site, the journal will change too. the address will not change, and i doubt the name ever will. i also have a new blog just about my dreams of a baby - Precious Dreams - but that is separate entirely from this.

4. What CMS (content management system) do you use? Do you like it or do you want to try something else? i use greymatter. my husband is working on a new blog system off and on, so when he’s done with it i’ll be switching to his. i like greymatter just fine though.

5. Do you read people who have both a journal and a weblog? Or do you prefer to read people who have all of their writing in one central place? i like it when it’s in the same place.

ok, yesterday i sang nicole c mullen’s ‘call on Jesus’. i did great! at least that’s what they tell me. i was having problems with overheating - i was sweating in the church! i had to go stand on the vent and drink ice water for a few minutes to cool down. but i’m better now. it’s strange!!

well, today i’m going to visit my pal leesa from high school! i haven’t seen her in ages!! i have been wanting to talk with her for a long time, but could never find her number. so i finally looked her up with 411! and she lives practically down the street from me now! how funny is that?!

i still have the *ahem* problem i mentioned yesterday.
i called the doc office and asked if it was normal, and if so, how long it would last.
the nurse told me to go the weekend without taking any meds, and see how i feel on monday.
if i feel better, the dr will prescribe something else. if i don’t feel better, it may be my sudden diet change. (you know, all the protein, and holding off on the carbs).
anyhow, i thought i would update!

ugh ugh and more ugh!
pardon me, oh those weak in tummies, but it must be said!!

i knew this medicine would have the side effect of diarrhea, but i didn’t know how badly it would affect me!!!
i feel horrible!
it’s supposed to clear out my system, and after a while it should stop, but it’s driving me crazy.
even when i don’t have a ‘problem’, my tummy is killing me!!
please pray for me - that this side effect won’t last forever!
last night, i was burning up at practice, my face was bright red. i don’t know if this was a side effect - i don’t know what else it could have been! i just hope it doesn’t happen again! hehe.

greetings!
i just got back from the dr, and wanted to write while everything is fairly fresh in my mind.
first of all, my insulin levels are too high. i have diabetes in family history, so i am at risk for diabetes.

i am going to start on glucophage tonight, and i am to change my diet a bit - less carbs, more protein. this will help my insulin levels. i will lose weight. yay! but not as many rolls, noodles, pizza, pasta, biscuits, sandwiches, breadsticks, potatoes, etc etc. wahhh!!!
the bad news is i’ll have to watch what i eat. the good news is, i have already been riding the exercise bike, and this motivates me to exercise even more - maybe buy a few free-weights, and do sit ups. i want to be in excellent shape when the baby is born!
i am to go two months with the glucophage, then we’ll see if it gets my cycle normal. when my cycle is normal, i ovulate, when i ovulate, i will become pregnant! so pray the whole thing works!!
i got the first two weeks of glucophage free (don’t you love free samples?!) and a coupon for a free monthly supply (yay!).
this is the best news, in my mind: since diabetes and other problems come from high insulin levels, the insurance will cover the glucophage, and other treatments! yay!!! God is good!!
ok, i think that’s it for now.
i need to go to the bank and visit zhou now, so hope to hear from you soon!

well, it’s finally open! the baby blog is in business! lol! precious dreams really sums it up.

in two days (on wed, for those who don’t want to add) i’m going to the infertility doctor to find out IF i really do have PCOS, and what medicine/hormone/drug i’ll be given.

soooo it’s almost time!! pray for me!!

pray that it will be this month or next month i conceive!

well….the yard sale didn’t go as well as we’d hoped!
